The "new" ones will have upgraded stuff like electronics, brakes, suspension. They also have deals in the works for a new engine platform - supposedly a 300-400hp V6.

Still wouldn't buy one for $100,000. I might pay $10,000 for one just to see what it was like to drive.
 

Quite simply, they have a warehouse full of parts they will never get rid of, and an audience of idiots willing to buy one. They just use up their parts stock, make a profit and wash their hands. Once those parts are gone, good luck getting repairs on your "new" model.
