Socialists are great at platitudes. Hard decisions are not for folks that want everyone to like them. War sucks, ask anyone who has actually been there. Fatal traffic accidents suck, ask any first responder. Fatal fires suck, ask any firefighter. But someone has to have the grapefruits (as someone would say), to get the necessary jobs done, for the good of civilized society everywhere. And innocents die every day. It's a sad fact of life, and yes, life isn't fair.
