Dont know if this is a repeat or not......

On August 27, 2004 at approximately 0153 hours, Officers responded to the parking lot of Hickory Hills Plaza in California, Maryland for a report of an assault. Once Officers arrived at the scene, they discovered an injured female lying in the parking lot. Investigation revealed the victim's injuries were sustained as a result of being struck by a motor vehicle in the parking lot. It was learned that the vehicle was a white 2000 Ford Mustang that was being operated in a reckless manner. The driver left the scene of the accident.

The driver of the vehicle was later identified as Thomas Quade, Age 25. Mr. Quade, a Maryland State Trooper, was located at his residence in Mechanicsville, Maryland. He was then charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Leaving the Scene of an Accident. The victim, Amy Blafour, was transported to St. Mary's County Hospital by the Lexington Park Rescue Squad where she was treated for multiple non-life threatening injuries and released. Cpl. John Shoemaker from the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
