How can they investigate something she doesn't remember? She cannot tell them where or when it happened, there were no witnesses except the two she named and and both say it never happened. In the real world, a cop would make a report and be done with it. There's nothing to investigate.
The "witnesses" have all had their say, and the politicians will lie.
If you think they are going to go after a US Senator you have rocks in your head. That is not going to happen.
And PS, a teenage groping 36 years ago is not a federal case and would not be handled by the FBI.

First, Grassley should tell Ford, Feinstein, Schmuck, and anyone else who thinks this should proceed to just suck it.
Next, hold the vote on Monday to confirm BK, and then move on to the next subject...the firing of Jeff Sessions & putting in Mark Levin as AG.
Then open investigations into this BS, the FBI/DOJ BS, Re open the case against your Queen and her Mandingo Messiah, and any other investigations that will finally shut your Party down...and if anyone should bitch about these actions, first, tell them to suck it, then turn the dogs on them as well...be interesting to see what they could turn up on you by means of destroying your life....
Now, these individuals will need to be held somewhere away from death threats & such until their trials...Gitmo would be the perfect place....then DOJ can take the next 20 yrs FULLY investigate every little detail in each criminal's life until it has been thoroughly investigated...since ya'll are all about being thorough this week...

The key word (your word) - unsubstantiated. Don't give it any credibility. If someone chooses to sit on an accusation for 35 years, then spring it at the perfect time to destroy someone's opportunity to take a position, and even their life, when that person has demonstrated a lifetime of honorable and honest work, has shown he is an honorable and honest family man, has hundreds of people vouching for him, you tell that accuser of unsubstantiated accusations - "you snooze you lose". Ford is an accomplished person and appears to be pretty smart. There's no excuse for someone of her smarts to pull this sort of stunt.
