What I read is, it’s over the death of a teen at the hands of police, From what I gather - it’s their equivalent of Floyd riots.

And it appears to be a race thing except - it’s about Muslims. One rioter was quoted as saying that no one was listening to them. And maybe now they will.

I understand that when your back’s against the wall, violence sounds like your only option. But it always strikes me as counterproductive since the first thing I want to do in response to violence is to dismiss their arguments. I don’t want to hear the words of someone who will hurt the innocent to be heard.
