My cube neighbor has taped off the air conditioning vent and is no longer cold.

The bad news is, now my vent is pumping twice as much air out.

What if you put tape across only half of your vent :shrug: would that help alleviate the problem some? :shrug:

Construct a makeshift hose out of paper, and tape it to your vent. Run it down into her cube. Problem solved.

Don't worry about tape being against government facility regulations... if I recall correctly duct tape was supposed to be our mode of defense according to our newly created Home Land Security Dept. at the time.


Is your vent on the floor or wall :shrug: If it's on the floor you can just set a book or something over half of it :shrug:

In that case, they probably won't notice if it has clear tape over it I don't know how you could say it was an accident though if you get caught...

Have your boss call maintenance about excessive air flow. Let them find the culprit for you.
