Squatters and illegals should only have one right and that is to be sent the hell back to where they came from.

What the hell are thy talking about squatters right. NO ONE should have the right to move into your home because you aren't in it when they move in. Homeowners should have the right to forcibly throw them the hell out. With prejudice and a good ass whipping.

I worry about squatter since our house up in Cumberland is empty a good portion of the year. Fortunately we have a neighbor that keeps his eye out on the place, and multiple (armed) family members are within 5 miles.

Cumberland is also a nice area for unwanted things to disappear.

I don’t sympathize with squatters - but some states laws support their claims on some substantial reasons. For example, a squatter who has lived there for nearly ten years and has maintained or even improved the property. I can’t get behind that either but it sure beats states granting rights after a few months.

Same, but I don't have to worry since it isn't in MD I will forcibly remove them.

I’m surprised no one is used some of the abandoned towns around Virginia and Maryland. There’s a fair number of them with collapsing buildings in the woods, one with an abandoned train tunnel in Maryland.

Lots of creepy places for a movie like that.

Anyone who allows a squatter to live in their home for 10 years with no rent SHOULD lose their house.
