The Hughesville by-pass

http://www.somd.com/news/headlines/2007/5661.shtml

The first time I went around this by-pass and spotted the 40 MPH signs and noticed I was getting passed by folks doing 75, I realised this was one of the finest speed traps ever set up by Maryland State Police.

I called all my family and warned them that the only thing this trap was wanting was a warm day with plenty of sunshine. Md. State boys prefer sunshine and a warm day if they can get it.

I wonder if they got hit with double fines and points because its a work area?

I also wonder if they will raise the limit when the Construction is finished.
Hard to say because it is a great spot to make the Quota's.

Go Braves!
I see them there all the time:lol: There is even an unmarked mustang catching people:yay:

I'll admit it is hard to do 40 thru there especially since it's so awesome to not have to sit at that light anymore! But I always watch my speed because a ticket would cut into my camping money:lol:

lol Rut Roh...guess I should slow down then huh? I've been through there numerous times on my way to and from Waldorf but haven't seen any police, marked or unmarked, or speed traps. The one time I did see a cop, he was passing me doing about 65 with no lights or siren, so I'm assuming he was above the law? lol
