I am posting for a friend. Does anyone have a child that goes there or got accepted in there? Are they any good/helpful? What should she expect?

The Judy Center is part of the Patuxent Elementary School in Lusby. They partner with Infants and Toddlers to help area families with children with learning and neurological diabilities. Give Naomi Watkins a call 410-535-7830, she co-ordinates with Infants and Toddlers.

If your friend is not yet part of Infants and Toddlers call Sheila Myers, 410-414-7034. The process to complete the evaluation is 45 days to have Infants and Toddlers assess needs and if they can help. After the assessment it can take up to 30 days to have your child begin their recommended treatment plan.

Wouldn't that depend on the county she's in? There are Judy Centers in most of the counties in the state, some have two. Judy Centers are early childhood intervention centers all over the state. They run the Head Start programs, along with other programs for children with physical and developmental disabilities.
