This press release is designed to inform the public of our commitment to ensuring safety and enforcing the laws in Maryland.
Our message this week is again, impaired driving kills. We strongly urge everyone to be responsible and not drive while impaired by alcohol, drugs or any other chemical that reduces your ability to drive a vehicle. We again investigated a fatal collision that occurred in our area involving an impaired driver. It absolutely could have been avoided if the at fault driver was not under the influence. Please also be aware if you are with someone that you have knowledge of committing a crime (like driving while impaired) and do nothing, you may be charged as well. Please do not drive while impaired and do not allow others to drive while impaired. Our family’s lives depend on it.
