Too funny. The United States Department of Justice (DOJ) is part of the executive branch of the federal government, directly responsible, and answerable, to the President and the Cabinet. Do these people even understand how govement works at the Federal level?
Therefore in reality, if you really think about it, (Occam's razor and all that), everything that the DOJ has done, or not done, for the past four years, is from the direction or input from the President, or his cabinet members.
