The pits for these rescued pits

On Friday October 21, 2005, Every Dog Needs A Home (EDNAH) was raided by the Baxter County Sheriff and the North Central Arkansas Humane Society. Tammy Hanson and her husband were arrested for animal cruelty. Between 400 and 500 dogs were on the property. Most of them, still in the shipping crates they arrived in, were covered in feces and urine. Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery said, "I've never seen anything like this before." The dogs had no shelter from the weather, heat of the day or the cold of the night.

Someone bit off more than they could chew. The pictures are disturbing. :twitch:

It looks more like a dumping ground than an animal sanctuary

That is just plain horrible!!! So many of those dogs have had a traumatic experience already and then to just be left like that. They have probably ruined many dogs by making them stay in crates like that! The bastages!

I am so very blessed
I'm always shocked that anybody could hurt an animal, particularly a domesticated animal. There are plenty of people that I'd want to torture and/or mistreat, but I've never found a dog that I'd want to harm. My dogs make my world a happier place, and it makes me incredibly sad to imagine them not being treated like the wonderful creatures that they are.

HOLY MARY! WTF IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE!??!?!?!
As if those poor creatures didn't go through enough, this is why I prefer animals to humans.
It makes me sick.

How sad. To have to rescue from a rescue...

I understand their wanting to help every dog they can but this comes too close to hoarding rather than rescuing.
