Around 3500 years ago in ancient Egypt, there lived a pharaoh who didn’t believe there were multiple gods ruling the universe. Pharaoh Akhenaten believed there was only one god — Aten the sun god. As you might imagine, this didn’t sit well with a lot of people. Priests who made a living assisting in the worship of other gods lost their livelihoods and since religion was a big deal in Egypt, a lot of important people connected to other gods lost quite a bit.

Akhenaten had sort of a co-regency with his son, Pharaoh Amenhotep IV, who also believed in the one god. After their deaths, the priests and those who worshipped other gods took their revenge on both of them. They systematically erased both pharaohs from history — literally. They scratched out their names on carvings, they chiseled over their names on stone tablets, they destroyed every scroll where their names appeared, they toppled any statues that bore their likenesses.

How effective was this erasure? When a bust was found of Akhenaten in the 19th century, nobody could figure out who he was.
Not even the Soviets, who became famous for scrubbing their history books of Communist leaders who had fallen out of favor, did such a fabulous job in erasing history. This is all relevant because Trump, and those even just tangentially associated with him, are about to be erased from history by those on both sides who see a political opening to destroy their opponents.

Senator Josh Hawley has been fingered as the scapegoat in the mob attack on the Capitol. It’s not exactly clear why. It could be that he was the most visible Senator who, in a completely legal and constitutional fashion, challenged the results of the Electoral College. You may believe he was right or you may think him crazy. Whatever your opinion, what he did was perfectly legal.

I'm so worried for our country. How could this have happened?
It's been coming for decades. The media first reported the news with editorial tweaks to favor their liberal causes.
If you opposed their cause, your side was labeled "Anti-" , a negative connotation. If you supported them, it was "Pro', much more positive.
As time marched on they would take the oppositions comments out of context, now they just don't report them.
Better yet, they tell a lie, and then all the "journalist" repeat it.
So now we have two medias, but give half a story if they do that at all.
Politicians went from being civil to just outright attacking anyone who opposed them.
At the start of the Trump administration we had members of the administration thrown out of restaurants and assaulted in public.
With Democrats like Maxine Waters telling her supporters to fight them in the street.
How the media seems to forget that.
Now you have a bunch of rowdy Hispanics (Proud Boys) who are using the same tactics.
Oh, less we forget the riots in DC on Inauguration Day 2017

The media doesn't forget anything. 'They' own all the media that control all that we see and hear. 'They' are the Bolsheviks. 'They' are who are dividing this nation for their gain. Fomenting the hate, discord, disharmony, division, leaving no race, status, class, untouched by their malevolent actions.

Just as General Patton of WWII said: “We defeated the wrong enemy.”

I think Trump, and a lot of us, seriously underestimated the depths of depravity the Demonrats were/are willing to sink to in order to acquire and wield power. That, and people like the never-Trumpers who actively and passively aided and abetted the Demons.

Here Comes Persecution

Rep. Cory Bush (D-Mo.) tweeted, “This coup attempt is white supremacy in action. The Republican members who incited the attack on our U.S. Capitol by working to overturn the results of this election must be expelled from Congress.”
Similarly, Georgia’s Senator-elect Raphael Warnock, believes “President Trump and all those who had enabled him,” like Republican Sens. Ted Cruz of Texas and Josh Hawley of Missouri, “were willing to sacrifice the nation, sacrifice its most cherished ideals of democracy, the peaceful transition of power for their own personal ambition.” In a universe governed by Bush and Warnock, it’s not a giant leap from expulsion to prosecution for insurrection.

As for the rest of us, as Fox News’ Tucker Carlson explained earlier this week, “Wednesday’s riot is already being used as a pretext for an unprecedented crackdown on civil liberties. Just in the last several hours, we have heard people in positions of power demand that those who support Donald Trump should no longer be allowed to publish books or use the Internet or fly on airplanes. Driving cars, holding jobs, and staying in hotels will certainly be next and we’re barely exaggerating.”

And don’t think it won’t get worse or become targeted specifically at Christians. California Attorney General Xavier Becerra is President-elect Joe Biden’s choice to be secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS).

Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) Vice President Kristen Waggoner tweeted shortly after Biden’s choice of Becerra was confirmed that “ADF had to go all the way to the Supreme Court to stop Becerra from forcing religious pro-life pregnancy centers to advertise for abortions. He is an extremist who has no regard for conscience or protecting life. There’s nothing moderate about this pick. Nothing.”

With radical Democrats, who already have the House majority, about to take control of the presidency and the Senate as well, Supreme Court Justices Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Bret Kavanaugh, Samuel Alito, and Amy Cohen Barrett may be the last line of defense against the coming persecution.

And we have already seen how fast THAT line of defense will fold up.

Democrats close in for the kill – not just Trump, but all Republicans

In 2020, Democrat riots caused billions of dollars in property damage, destroyed historic sites, and assaulted and murdered dozens of people. Meanwhile, on January 6, President Trump asked patriots to walk peacefully to the Capitol to cheer politicians who, copying Democrat, objected to Electoral College votes. Some hotheads (encouraged by Antifa plants?) entered the Capitol, as Democrat protesters have done many times before. This time, though, Democrats demand that Trump leave office immediately under the 25th Amendment or be impeached and that all Trump-supporting politicians across America be expelled from office.

When George Floyd, an ex-con convicted of a brutal crime died from a drug overdose while Minneapolis police restrained him in accordance with their department’s training materials, Democrats across America went wild. Minneapolis alone suffered half a billion dollars in damages, most to small business owners, many of whom are black. The dam burst in all major Democrat-run cities. Unhindered by lockdowns, Democrats rioted, looted, burned, assaulted, and murdered in New York, Chicago, Austin, Los Angeles, Portland, and Seattle, just to name a few places.

And let us not forget what they did in D.C., where they tried to burn historic St. John’s church, tore down equally historic statues, smothered public property with obscene graffiti, and attacked the White House. This wasn’t the Democrats’ first assault on D.C. For just one example, Ed Driscoll reminds us that, back in 2018, Ocasio-Cortez and Nancy Pelosi applauded Democrats who stormed Pelosi’s office. According to Pelosi, it was a good thing to see activists “organize and participate in our Democracy.” Indeed, they have had a habit of urging violence against Trump and his supporters.

In Capitol Riot Aftermath, People Are Contacting Sen. Josh Hawley’s High School Demanding It ‘Condemn’ The Alumnus

Critics of Missouri Republican Sen. Josh Hawley are contacting the all-boys Jesuit high school from which he graduated more than twenty years ago to express their displeasure with the role they claim he played in Wednesday’s riot at the U.S. Capitol.

Hawley, a 1998 graduate of Rockhurst High School in Kansas City, has supported President Donald Trump’s appeal to reject the election results both before and after last week’s rebellion that resulted in five deaths. He has been accused of nonverbally inciting those who stormed the Capitol building for the cause. However, he did issue a statement calling for the violence to end and people who broke the law to be prosecuted. President-elect Joe Biden recently likened Hawley to Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels.

Major corporations say they will stop donating to members of Congress who tried to overturn the election

Now, three major corporations tell Popular Information that they will stop contributing to Republican members of Congress who encouraged the rioters by objecting to the certification of the Electoral College vote.

The mob was summoned and whipped into a frenzy by Trump, who still maintains he won the election and relentlessly pushes baseless allegations of fraud. But none of it would be possible without the complicity of certain Republican members of Congress. January 6 is normally of no particular significance in the process of selecting a president. Congress opens up some envelopes and confirms the winner, who was already determined by the meeting of the Electoral College in December.

But there were 147 Republican members of Congress, including eight Senators, who objected to the certified results of the Electoral College in one or more states. The participation of these members of Congress convinced millions of people that it was possible that, on January 6, the results of the election could be overturned and Trump could be installed for a second term. This was a lie, but tens of thousands of people showed up in Washington D.C. anyway.

All of these corporations saw record breaking profits during Trump's time, and now they turn on him just to stay in favor with the new crowd for, hopefully, continued profits. Siding with Trump and defending him now would hurt their profits.

Several major companies said Monday they planned to cut off political donations to the 147 members of Congress who voted against certifying the election last week, while other major corporations said they are suspending all political contributions -- a sign of corporate America’s growing unease with the election doubts and violent attacks inspired by President Trump.

Deutsche Bank to Pull Back From Business With Trump and His Company

“We believe the appropriate action would be the resignation of the president of the United States, which is in the best interests of our nation and the American people,” the bank said in a separate statement on Monday.

The lenders are following social media outlets and other companies in suspending ties with the president after he encouraged attendees at a rally last week to march on the Capitol, where they stormed the building and interrupted the certification of the electoral college vote. At least five people died in the mayhem and its immediate aftermath.

“Yesterday was a dark day for America and our democracy,” Deutsche Bank Americas head Christiana Riley posted on LinkedIn a day after the riot. “We are proud of our Constitution and stand by those who seek to uphold it to ensure that the will of the people is upheld and a peaceful transition of power takes place.”
