LOS ANGELES - The filmmaking Farrellys, known for their gleeful bad taste in irreverent comedies such as “There’s Something About Mary,” are taking on the Special Olympics. Johnny Knoxville of “Jackass” fame is the star.

“The Ringer” sounds like a politically incorrect disaster — but the Special Olympics couldn’t be happier.

I thought it was fun enough. Not a great movie or anything, but fun for what it was - a stupid little comedy with some good laughs and a bright tone. Johnny Knoxville somewhat redeems himself after the horrendously awful The Dukes Of Hazzard.

Just watched the Ringer, it was actually pretty funny and wasn't nearly as offensive as I thought it would be. Some might find it offensive but I think it was done as tastefully as a movie with this plot could be.

It could have been SO much more offensive!!! :lmao: It was VERY tame for the likes of Knoxville and some of the others! I thought it was cute; I had some outright giggles
