Railroad
Routinely Derailed
As the ludicrous delay continues, today's antics had me thinking I was being snapped up by another contractor in the morning, and then back to the original contractor this afternoon. Oh, by the way, as of yesterday I was told I'd only be supporting one of the two PMAs that want my services, and then this afternoon it's back to the original two PMA arrangement. When the prime contractor queried NAVAIR (again) about when the contract award might occur, the response was the same song and dance we've been hearing since January: "It's close!"
:grumble:
Then when things finally come through, I have to walk in there with a big smile, groveling as necessary, as if this 6-month hiatus had never happened.
:sizzle:
I just paid May's bills and I see I can't hold on much longer.
