You have to read it for the quoted comments.

:banghead:

So this can be the thread where you all try to top that. It's only March 1 and I'm picking this story right out of the gate.

We've done this VERY OFTEN, especially if we go to a restaurant famous for ONE signature dish.
If we both went to a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, I am pretty sure we would both order the Beef Wellington.
I don't even think I'd like it, but it's his specialty.

We have also from time to time ordered specials which are two-fers - a dish designed for two people to share.

So what are they trying to say, Jill pretty much orders for him, and he's too decrepit to order for himself? Feh, we know that already.

Since most restaurants don't carry it, my wife and I will both order liver and onions if they have it.

Bob's Big Boy used to carry liver and onions. I wasn't a fan, growing up, but I liked Bob's liver and onions.
My grandfather and several aunts and uncles were fans.

I could never get passed the smell of it.

Only time it was ever in my house was, once in a while, as a treat for the Malamutes and Huskies.

You would hate my house on weekends when the wife makes her dogfood for the pups...liver, sardines, various veggies, different meats, etc all ground up, cooked and divvied up into daily containers...

The Ex used to do that for the Mals and Huskies. Cooked a full dinner of some meat, rice, veg and berries for them, served warm and fresh.

:lmao:

I got Kibble.

I'm sure she'd share some with them if they asked politely.
