Well, since it's now spring time we'll have our theme of Flowers! I'd like to do a two week theme so that we don't go stagnant, but since this will be the first time with a shorter time span we'll set a minimum number of entries. So if by Monday, April 21, 2008 we do not yet have 5 entries we will extend the entry period until Monday, April 28, 2008.
My New Rules
1. You can post more than one image for sharing and discussing purposes, but you must choose ONE to present for judging. If you submit more than one and don't choose a favorite I get to pick which one goes on to the poll.
2. There is no maximum number of entries! I can create more than one poll thread if we need semi-finals since there is a limit to the number of options in a poll, but I don't want anyone to feel left out.
3. The pictures must be taken during the competetion period. It's spring time, so most likely you won't even have any months old pictures of flowers. Get out there and take some shots!!
Standard Basic Rules:
1. Every participant is allowed one picture per challenge. This rule is not changed, but slightly altered, see above.
This rule has been changed, see above. Pictures must be taken during contest dates so 4.7.08 - 4.21.08--
2. Dates of elligible photos. See above.
3. The posted picture must remain unaltered, once posted.
But the text of the participation may be edited/changed, as often as
necessary (for possible exceptions contact the Challenge Leader)!
4. Pictures may be processed in postproduction
before submitting them, but the main picture/content must not have been
changed or altered.
5. Remember, this is a community forum and lets keep the images good for viewing of all ages.
6. If there are any questions or obscurities the Challenge Leader is the
person to appeal and to decide.
7. The actual Challenge Leader has the freedom to alter the rules,
if reasonable (except Rule 5 perhaps). But he/she has to make sure the rules
are clearly stated and applied to all submissions.
8. Please keep this a fun and interesting forum. Using MPD's to vote more than once for someone, or recruiting votes in other areas of the forum isn't helping anyone have fun.
This is to boost the photography forum, have some fun and better all of us, so if you have any questions of comments on photography feel free to ask them in the "Topic Thread" of the theme.
PLEASE give you photo a title so we can refer to it in the voting!!

Can't upload photos or you used your camera phone and need help?
You can send them directly to one of my galleries via e-mail - phyxius@email.smugmug.com
In the subject line put SOMDFlowersTheme (this is case sensitive, so use the capitals where you see them above).
In the body of the e-mail put your username & photo title. I'll check it every day and update the thread with any e-mailed images. (This means you can also send them as a picture text message from your cell phone to the same e-mail address, but you must have the subject line.)
