Bring lots of $$$ (if they'll let you have a shower there) and do a "SEARCH" (toolbar top of page) there are many threads about the Tides to peruse.

You're going to get mixed reviews from people on here... You should go yourself, have dinner one night and form your own opinion

I just went to a baby shower at "The Tea Room" in Leonardtown Sunday. It was very nice and Iam sure a lot less $ then what it would cost to go to "The Tides"
There is an antique store in the reatuarant part of the building ( very fun to walk around and look at things in there ) and a craft store next door. Very nice and the people that run the place are great!

I've been a few times and each time it has been good...not great but good. I would definitely go again. And they have a GREAT martini list!!!

We love the Tides for special occations. They have a private room and will accomodate your needs, but they are very pricey. I had my babyshower at the Tea Room at the Antics Center in Leonardtown and they did a fabulous job. It was a very small informal gathering. I think you should check out your options - have a bite to eat at Tides and then decide.

The Tides is nice, its pricey as well. Look into the Tea N Scones in the Leonardtown Square. They have a wine bar and I'm sure will rent you space. Its nice and quaint and they have a good menu from quiche, great soups, sandwiches and salads. You can do tea or you can do wine, the selection of both are great and the setting is lovely.
