Of course. That's why terrorists load them up with explosives and send them into a military camp - they know it's harder to take down a kid. Apparently the gangs have noticed this.

I don't really understand why I, some dummy with a high school education in St. Mary's County, MD, can understand that criminals don't obey the law or Geneva Convention or whatever, but the educated morons who run the world can't seem to get it through their thick skull.

Obviously their REAL goal is to disarm the general populace, not prevent crime. I mean, that's the first thing a dictator does - makes sure his opposition can't fight back.
