The UN has appointed Zimbabwe to head the committee on economic progress and environmental protection. I went on safari there a few years back when the dictator Mugabe was beginning land reform and redistibuting farms to his cronies. The country that once was the bread basket of Africa cannot now feed itself. The inflation rate is approximately 1300%; that's right thirteen hundred percent. Zimbabwe really knows alot about economic progress. Regarding environmental protection; I was scheduled to return to Zimbabwe the following year, but the hunt was cancelled due to poaching.
