....is ending home delivery in our area.

98-yr-old aunt reads that paper cover to cover, every word of every story and advertisement, every day for the last 60 years. Since it is no longer safe for her to walk to the paper box by herself, husband or I go over every morning, grab her paper, make her coffee, set out her cereal, start her day with her. Once we leave, she spends 3+ hours happily reading the paper and drinking her coffee.

They are switching over to USPS delivery. Ha. We all know how that's gonna go, delivery at noon, if at all. And Sunday paper will come on Monday.

So, I'm looking for where to buy the paper daily to take to her. Maybe the grocery store? Most little convenience stores no longer carry the paper. I called TWP, of course, the person answering the phone is in the Philippines (I asked) and had no clue where to go to get a paper, and no idea who else I could ask.

Thanks, y'all, this is not going to be good if she can't have her paper in the AM.

Does this mean that those with a subscription will now have to pay more delivery fees to get their paper?

What about the Sunday paper? Will USPS have a special delivery schedule? How much MORE will that cost??

USPS delivery? What a joke. The grocery stores used to. Not sure about now though. I guess I'm not much help.

I dropped my Enterprise subscription when they started mailing them and when they combined the tri-county into one paper.
