We just watched the movie "Redtails"; the Tuskeegee Airmen were awesome heroes. Somehow, I don't think changing the name of the Redskins to Redtails solves the problem of targeting an ethnic group, or solves the problem of racism that some seem to think the Redskins name evokes. What about the Washington Constitutionalists, or the Washington Freedom Fighters, or the Washington Americans.

How did the Washington Redskins get their name

Also, "the Colonel Custers" would be very PC !

All of those names bring up thoughts of bigotry, racism & right wing extremism

And Washington Redtails would invoke jpeg images of red assed babboons so it's out
