The women were not Apostate [fake]!

Matthew 28:1 After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.
2 There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. 3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. 4 The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.
5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
8 So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. 9 Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.”

Here's a link to the commentary I read. There are some things in the commentary I didn't include here. Please follow the link and read for yourself.

Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb: They came to finish the preparation of Jesus’ body, which was cut short by the Sabbath (Luke 24:1-3). So after the Sabbath on Sunday (the first day of the week), they came to the tomb — fully expecting to find the dead body of Jesus.
There was a great earthquake: Matthew alone notes this earthquake. The earthquake did not cause the stone to be rolled away; if anything, the angelic rolling of the stone prompted the earthquake.
An angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it: When the women came to the tomb, they saw the stone rolled away and an angel sitting on the stone. The door to the tomb was wide open.
And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men: The Roman soldiers responsible for guarding the tomb were terrified. The angelic presence made these professional soldiers tremble and faint.
He is not here, for He is risen: For the first time, the followers of Jesus — these faithful women — heard what they did not expect to hear. They heard that Jesus was not in the tomb, but risen to resurrection life.
Come, see the place where the Lord lay: The stone was not rolled away to let Jesus out. John 20:19 tells us that Jesus, in His resurrection body, could pass through material barriers. It was rolled away so that others could see in and be persuaded that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead.
Go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead: The angel commanded them to be the first messengers of the good news of Jesus’ resurrection. Since these women were some of the few people courageous enough to publicly identify themselves with Jesus, it was an appropriate honor.
Ran to bring His disciples word: The women — filled with fear and great joy — did exactly what the angel told them to do. He told them to go quickly and they did.
As they went to tell His disciples: The women met Jesus as they obeyed the command to tell the news of the resurrection.
Jesus met them, saying “Rejoice!” What else could Jesus say to these women? What else could they do other than rejoice?
The old King James Version translates “Rejoice!” with All hail! France observes, “‘Hail!’ represents the normal Greek greeting, an almost homely ‘Hello!’ in contrast with the fearsome appearance of the angel.”
So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him: When the women met Jesus, they felt compelled to worship Him. An hour before, they thought everything was lost because they thought Jesus was dead. Now they knew everything was gained because Jesus was alive.
Do not be afraid. Go and tell My brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see Me: Jesus told the women to do the same thing that the angel told them to do.

Judas and Joseph of Arimathea didn't start the Apostate [fake] Church. Who was next? The women!

Women are great gossips. If you don't believe it, spend a day in my community. We just naturally meet and during the conversation one of the women will most likely say "Did you hear about .... ".

So the Mary's went to the tomb as soon as they could. It had been a long weekend. First there was the Passover Feast, followed by the Sabbath. So, the women didn't get time to properly prepare Jesus' body. So as soon as they could get out of the house legally, they went to the tomb.

I guess they planned on having the guard move the stone that blocked the entrance to the tomb. They would have to get into the tomb to embalm the body.

I can imagine their shock when they found the tomb open already!

They had probably been thinking of how they would get that rock out of the way. They had probably been "studying on it" the whole Passover and Sabbath. They might have even had one of the girls get "dressed" to deal with it.

Would the guard roll the stone out of the way for the Jewish Ladies to do their embalming deed? Would they have allowed the women to pass?

Were they relieved when they got there and the stone was already removed? Were they terrified that the body could have been tampered with or worse yet, taken?

There was a lot of politics going on in Jerusalem that weekend. Barrabas had been released from prison. He was anti-government. I guess today they would be calling him a terrorist. Did the women think Barrabas took the body? Did the women think Pilate or the Pharisees or the Sadducees took the body? Would the women be able to get His body back? Were the women considering who to ask for that political favor? Were they wondering who, among the Believers, had the political clout to get Him back?

Then Mary heard the Angel speak. I'm sure that would have been just as terrifying! I mean... think about it... What would you do if a real talking Angel appeared and started talking to you? I think I'd have to go change my drawers.

Then on top of that, the women saw and heard Jesus! Jesus had NOT swooned.... He was dead when they sealed Him in the tomb days before. The should have been bloated and ready to burst in that tomb after all those days. Instead.... Jesus was alive and well!!!! His back probably ached from the lashing. His rib probably hurt where the guard stabbed Him.

Jesus was gone. The Angel told the girls to get word to the Apostles and the others. Jesus would meet them in Galilee.

The women did as the Angel instructed them. They took off to deliver the stressful message to the others. Jesus body wasn't in the tomb!!!!

Verse 9 says Jesus appeared out of nowhere and spoke to the women and they hit their knees to Worship Him.

Jesus let them worship Him. He's not a lowly Angel. He's half human and half God. He outranks the Angels. Humans outrank Angels, so Angels don't allow themselves to be worshipped by humans.

Then Jesus told them to get the Mission done. Pass the word. Jesus is Risen!!!!

Jesus is Risen!!! He's not just pulling a magician's disappearing act. The Roman Guard didn't kidnap the body. Barrabas and his band of malcontents didn't steal the body.

Jesus could walk and talk. He was not dead, bloated, and ready to burst!

Jesus said "Go tell" and the women went to tell.

The women didn't start the Apostate [fake] Church. They were witnesses to greater miracles that almost anyone else! They had a story to tell. Why make up anything?

The women were not Apostate [fake]!
