Their both at fault… or Karma

So, looks like the recorder person goes trolling for road rage so she can record it when it happens. And hit the jackpot. Both are in the wrong. the odds of not being able to get over and allow a pass for 3 minutes are pretty slim. Not, jackass who crashed was more in the wrong, he tailgated, then made unsafe lane changes, but she wasnt right either. Legally, maybe, but not ethically.

Anyone who hasn't come to grips with being on camera, 24/7, anywhere, anytime, by now, especially a younger person, probably isn't ready to drive yet. Do we know the film-er was trolling? Maybe the film-ee had been tailgating a bit and then out came the camera? In any event, this is all on bird man. He done ####ed up, but good.

She was trying to prove a point to the tailgater by instigating the situation by filming while driving, not moving over and going 50 in a 55. Both are at fault here...

Well, if you spend three minutes getting tailgated when you have the opportunity to get over, you are trolling for road rage. And that three minute number comes from her, via the article from the local news source she talked to. The other aspect of this is how well was that lady driving while recording? She did a great job of framing the action. Can you really safely do that? Pretty sure I couldn't pay enough attention to the road while recording that much. Dont get me wrong, his crash is all on him, I only want to point out, while birdman is an azz of the highest water, camera chick is not without a safety violation or two herself, not to mention her violation of driving courtesy. Your results when reacting to azzholes is your result from your actions, but that doesnt make them less of an azzhole.

Nope. She was going at the speed limit as she took effort to show. His behavior can NOT be her responsibility when she isn't doing a damn thing to him. Do you speed up when you see a cop running radar? Would he be 'responsible' for instigating? I get the impulse. I hate speed cams. And maybe I'd be annoyed if someone was filming be driving recklessly but, my behavior has to be on me.

Ok, it doesn't mention it on this video. But when she was on the news this morning she admitted to going 50 in a 55. Her vid actually showed her below 50. I'm standing by both at fault, him for being an azzhat and her for baiting/instigating/filming while driving. :buddies:
