Washington Post editorial board admits Biden's 'inner circle worked to conceal his decline’

Post cites Wall Street Journal pre-debate article about Biden's signs of slippage behind the scenes

The Washington Post editorial board admitted President Biden’s "inner circle worked to conceal his decline" on Tuesday in a piece celebrating Biden stepping down under intense party pressure last month.

Critics of President Biden had long suggested he wasn’t mentally fit to serve another term, but he sought re-election until Democratic leaders effectively forced him to step aside following a disastrous debate performance against former President Trump. Throughout the entire process, Biden and White House officials have insisted he was still sharp.

In a piece that largely fawned over Biden, the editorial board declared his "willingness to surrender power deserves special recognition" and added a tidbit that White House critics have long suspected.

Four paragraphs into the piece, the Post editorial board conceded: "The 81-year-old had shown signs of slipping for a long time, but his inner circle worked to conceal his decline."

Hey WaPo! It was apparent to ANYONE, and EVERYONE, paying least bit of attention to President Parsnip for the last three years.

Welcome to Reality! :roflmao:

What a bunch of ####wads.

The leftwing media concealed it as well because there's no way legit reporters either A) accept that the POTUS is constantly in hiding and won't talk to the press; or B) didn't notice Biden wasn't all there.

This is the same press that relentlessly attacks Donald Trump and fawns absurdly over that dolt Kamala Harris.

This is the biggest problem facing our country - the bias and dishonesty of our information sources.

At least with trump they can blame it on Dementia, the mental inabilities that Kamala has cannot be blamed on that.
She is just plain dumb. Educations has nothing to do with intelligence.

You can teach a monkey to cackle but that doesn't qualify it to be President.

Kamala majoring in a hands on Political Science and Sex Education combined didn't help her become smart.

I saw a clip of Biden yesterday evening. He had just come from the convention after giving his speech Monday night and was about to board AF1. A reporter and camera man from an unknown source yelled over and asked if he was upset. Biden approached them and said he was not upset, he withdrew for the good of the party.
He then proceeded to explain that he had won the primary fair and square, that one bad debate was not just cause for Pelosi to force him out, he wasn't that far behind in the polls, and he was still certain he could have won the election if it were not for the unfair treatment.

He then looked extremely fatigued, said "I gotta go", and shuffled off to board the plane. He actually made it all the way up the ramp without falling.

P.S. I searched for that clip to post it here, but it was gone.

For the good of the party. Then bashed all those involved pushing him out. Yeah he's upset.

For the good of the party. I hate that. Phuck the party. I do not vote for the good of the party.
The Republican party is almost as big a POS as the Democrats.

I am voting for Donald Trump because in this election he is the best man for my country.
The future of my country is in severe jeopardy if and cackling fool who will be run by the Georgetown White House is given the Presidency.

Not elected to the Presidency ----GIVEN-- the Presidency.
