I saw a show on the History Channel the other night about illegal drugs and how many, including Ecstasy and LSD used to be legal and respected by the medical community. The show told about the social, economic and political reasons that led to these these drugs being declared illegal (or "scheduled"). While there is potential for abuse of any drug, it just so happens that these two had a much larger social impact, and got more media attention than others. That said, I do not condone the abuse of ANY drug, legal or illegal.
