It is so simple to put your Outlook contacts on your ipod. Just select that option in preferences and done. Great for those of us who hate to carry an address book. Another great feature is the ability for the ipod to store your Outlook calendar. I think it is easy to forget your ipod is so much more than a place to store music.

I find the ipod games a PITA.

I have an Ipod photo 60GB. I use a hack called Rockbox www.rockbox.org

It allows you to use various lossless codecs such as shorten or flac. It also allows for gapless playback. Usefull for live albums or concept albums.
