Reading Acts every morning gets me thinking about Paul.
I know a lot of you would prefer that I call him St. Paul.... but to me.... He's just Paul.... it makes him come to life.
He started out a murderer. The High Priest even gave him permission to travel and wipe out that radical band calling themselves Christians..... all that talk about that Jesus.... would it never end! He got a kick out of killing. I bet it excited him.... much as a serial killer would be depicted now on TV.
Paul literally saw the light! Now he's talking about Jesus as the Messiah. He's Jewish, a Roman Citizen, and he's going around talking about "the Way". He's telling people in the Jewish Temple that they don't have to be circumcised. He's bringing in Gentiles!
So the High Priest really has his hands full!
