Out on bail already.... Insane.

Well, that's California for you.

If it had been a regular, law-abiding citizen coming in from the high desert, he'd be getting out after the Jan. 6th people. Which apparently is going to be the 12th of Never.

Um, why would they release someone who was trying to assassinate a presidential candidate? Do I have to read the story or does someone want to enlighten me? Is it just because it's California and that's what they do?

For a state that wants to ban guns they sure aren't serious about prosecuting people walking around with them.

I mean its about a minute and tirty seconds read. Not some 40 minute video. CA booked him under minimal firearm charges. And like so many places that scream bloody blue murder about gun violence, they never keep folks with firearms in the commission of a crime in jail for long.

"However, a source close to the Trump campaign told The Daily Mail there was no assassination attempt.

It appears Vem Miller just had firearms in his vehicle and did not have any plot to assassination President Trump.

Miller appears to be a Trump supporter who was taken into custody for having firearms in his vehicle."

Except this....
Miller was also allegedly in possession of fake VIP passes and press passes for Trump’s rally.

yes, very confusing..

"In a puzzling turn of events, Sheriff Chad Bianco claimed during his press conference that his deputies may have foiled a third a*sassination attempt on Trump, based on what he knows. Yet, sources close to the Trump campaign denied any a*sassination attempt at Trump's Coachella rally yesterday. To add to the confusion, the FBI and Secret Service issued a joint statement confirming an ongoing investigation. Meanwhile, Donald Trump Jr. fueled the speculation by retweeting an article suggesting it was indeed an a*sassination attempt. This entire situation makes no sense."

"Vem Miller, who was caught with multiple illegal firearms and fake press passes just feet away from Trump's Coachella rally in an alleged a*sassination attempt, has already been released on a $5K bail. What’s more alarming is that Miller was recently seen in close proximity to high-profile figures like Vivek Ramaswamy, Newt Gingrich, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and Donald Trump Jr."

As with Hill Dawg, it's all about the intent.

On another note, I'm old enough to remember when they used to arrest people being drunk, stupid, and making threats in a bar in Dallas against a sitting POTUS.

Good times.

Why bring a bunch of guns to a political rally? Even if he's just a harmless Trump supporting 2A advocate, anyone should be smart enough to know not to do that, especially after Trump has already had two attempts on his life.
