This Boxer boy needs help...

BARCS (Baltimore Shelter) needs a rescue to pull this boxer today, to get the vet care he desperately needs.
The email says: We have a very nice 2 year old male boxer named Brice that came in needing medical care. He has lived with children and is good with other dogs.
The dog may have a blockage. Owner could not afford the vet costs. He did take the dog to the vet and vet recommended ex-rays.
He is bleeding from his rectum and is not able to hold food down. This dog is still wagging his nub at us and is just super sweet.
If your group can take this boy please contact me immediately. We cannot afford the vet costs associated with possible surgery for him here and we cannot keep him more then until the end of day today.

Just got a note - a rescue pulled him - now they'll (the rescue) get him his vet care.

I was worried about this boxer since I first received the email today...I'm sooo happy a rescue pulled him. *hugesighofrelief*
I did get that other email...sounds like a nightmare.

Sometimes...guess it depends who is doing it...I've seen it cost considerably less, but still over a few hundred.

Yeah, it is usually dependent where in the intestines he's blocked and if there is any damage. Poor fella.

We are curently looking for a boxer to rescue. We were going to go the puppy route again but so many boxers need homes. If anyone hears of when the boxers will be available please email me...Thank you so much...Shirley
