Leonardtown Pub it is!

I'll be there around 5pm and will commandeer as large a table as I can get away with.

Nor will we likely be in anybody's back yard, which means folks will have to actually *sigh* get off their ass, get in the car, and drive somewhere if they want to join us.

Unless we throw a party at my house, which means *I* will be in *my* back yard. But that also means strangers on the internet won't be invited, and they'll miss it anyway.

A dilemma.....

all depends on how far and in what traffic conditions one must get off their ass to drive to.
but, we did the leonardtown pub once before if I remember. the parking was pretty limited and it was very crowded inside.

I'm not talking about you. You and PanLady have driven to meet us many times with nary a whimper.

I'm talking about the ones who, each and every week, say, "Oh, I would love to come to one of these but...*sigh*...too far away." So next time we set something up for their neck of the woods and....*sigh*...still too far. I suspect they won't be joining us unless we arrange to have dinner at their dining room table.

But I'm not complaining. We have trouble corralling enough tables and chairs as it is. Plus I have enough friends now and don't need to make any more.

I would love to come out and meet people, but my wife doesnt get home from DC on Fridays till around 6:30 and we are 30 to 60 minutes away from a get together that started at 5 or 5:30, it doesnt work for me.

should one week, do a saturday night somewhere and see if we can get the ones that have a distance issue on friday nights to attend.

plus, that would allow for us to get deeper into St Marys and try yet another new place.
So far I have not been dissapointed with any of the places.

That sounds like a plan, you could even stop in the dorf and pick me and the wifey up so I dont have to burn my own gas. :buddies:
