This equipment has been around for a while now. I mentioned it to a CE guy I used to work with and he said the mechanism is a great safety feature but that the actual equipment/saw was pretty low end. He said they refused to let the big name high end equipment manufacturers use his patented safety mechanism and decided to produce his own brand. Not a big seller. This was some years ago though.
