This is what happens when you demonize and defund the police

You end up with dumbshits like these two because no decent reasonably intelligent person would want to be a cop:

Apparently quoting the law should now be grounds for termination? It's well known that teens that are sexting photos in school are facing child porn charges. Is it a smart law? Not when handled as an absolute. Unfortunately the law enforcement officers job requires the absolute, then the judicial system decides if prosecution is necessary.

We have a deputy facing termination in St Mary's because he didn't follow the absolute.

The father then shared security footage of the exchange he had with one female officer who can be heard on video informing him that his child "could probably get charged with child porn if she found to have produced the images."

Stunned by the officer's remarks, the father said: "Who? She can? She's 11 years old."

The same officer asked: "She's creating it, right?"

"She's 11 years old," the father asserted.

"Doesn't matter. She's still making porn," the female officer maintained.

Arguing back the father said: "No. She's being manipulated by a grown a– adult on the internet."

The female officer cut him off and asked: "Is she taking pictures, though?"

"You guys have a nice evening, thank you for coming," the father said, abruptly ending the conversation.

Wasn't one of the arguments for allowing females to enter the police forces as full-fledged members of the force, rather than as secretaries and meter maids, that they would bring a "kinder, gentler approach to policing"?

Yeah, that didn't age so well. Like milk.

"The Columbus Police Department released a statement on Monday informing the public that the two responding officers are under investigation for their response to the "call for service."

What is the over/under on next Monday the CPD issuing another statement to the affect "We have investigated ourselves and found we've done nothing wrong."
