I love him as an actor and I used to think he was adorable on talk shows. But after he and his nasty wife's treatment of Jenna Bush when she was interning at their agency, I think he sucks. And to hook up with Angelina Jolie paints him as a psycho to the Nth degree.

But i did know someone from High school who died from that, very sudden, VERY sad, he was a great guy!

Hard to imagine that someone as wise as Brad Pitt, a man who even Gwyneth Paltow left because she said he wasn't very intelligent, would go and get spinal menegitis in Africa. Nope.. I just can't figure it.

I had a buddy who died of that crap in middle school... We all had to take these big ass pills that made our sweat and stuff orange.

Probably bacterial meningitis.

The viral is pretty common and people don't ususally die from it unless you have some other health issue. It's commonly transmitted from mosquito bites.

hmm maybe its not called that, i thought it was though. Because it came on with flu like symptoms. And he didnt make it 48 hours. If i remember right. But they had a BIG thing at school about it, people were scared because they didnt know if they were sick or had this problem...

My son (14 now) had bacterial Meningitis when he was 10.. he was one sick boy, wouldn't walk and when he did he looked like he was drunk, wouldn't sit up for the longest time.. wouldn't eat.. nothing just lay there with the saddest eyes.. then one day, about 3 weeks into it (it may have been longer) he closed his eyes to take a nap, an hour later he woke up and my son was back.. first thing he said.. Can I have a Peanut Butter and Jelly sammich!? THEN I knew he was OK.. scary times.
And of COURSE this was the day before his appointment with the specialist at Childrens in Pittsburgh(after seeing the family doctor and two ER docs).. Doctor thought we had lost our minds bringing such a healthy kid to see him, wasting his time like that.. I was HAPPY to waste his time that day!
