What, you don't set out a tip jar at the register?
If they go above and beyond or are particularly entertaining, I'll drop them a couple bucks. I like to reward good behavior and sometimes they won't have a tip jar out but I'd like to tip them anyway.
People tip me all the time at my day job, even though we never panhandle nor is it expected in any way. They come in with a complicated request, which is one of my favorite things because I'm all about solving puzzles, and while it's just part of my job I appreciate the tip not so much for the money but because it's them saying I did a great job and they appreciate it. It's the same as when they write a review note mentioning my stellar customer service.
It's a good feeling and I like to pay that forward.

I've had good luck lately (knock on wood). I order no contact delivery but I can see them pull in and usually open my door when they set the order down. I like the grocery delivery because I despise grocery shopping and always have. If they go above and beyond I'll go to the site and increase the tip a little. None of them looked they were hitting the pipe

DoorDash issues warning that people who aren't tipping might take longer to receive their orders.
This morning I got a call from a guest who informed me that there was a McDonald's bag on their doorstep courtesy of DoorDash and was apparently delivered at 6am. Clearly the driver just dumped it wherever he pleased because we finally found who it belonged to and the location wasn't even close.
Must have been a former Amazon driver.

Their deliveries are directly thru JJ's vs a third party. They are always on top of it. One of the only places I can walk in and out with an order in less than 5 minutes most days. Half the time I don't even bother with ordering ahead on their app.
