On 06/02/06 at approximately 1000 hours a student at Leonardtown Middle School notified school staff that a handwritten note was discovered in a bathroom declaring a bomb threat at the school. The school was evacuated and deputies responded. The investigation resulted in the arrest of two eleven year old females. One was charged with the bomb threat, property destruction, and disruption of school activities. The other was charged with disruption of school activities. Both juveniles were processed and released to the custody of parents.

Why do kids do that? They know they're going to be in trouble if they get caught. I'm sure it was just a prank, but that's a pretty stupid prank.

This was going on at Spring Ridge Middle a couple of months ago. They had 5 bomb threats by handwritten note in 1 month.

2 or 3 girls were arrested for it. One, our neighbor, insists she's innocent but is still on house arrest.

It got to where my girls were afraid to go to the bathroom for fear they'd be accused. Poor things would hold it all day.

I was in High School when Columbine happened, I remember someone started this rumor that someone was going to shoot up Great Mills too. I went to school the day it was supposed to happen. There were 3-5 people in all my classes.

Daughter was mad about the bomb threat today I'm pretty sure they've had the threats done many times like this in the past too.

When I went to Leonardtown Middle School my friends and I flushed the cafeteria apples and oranges down the toilets to make them overflow.

I had a troubled youth. I've moved onto public bathrooms now.

It also seems to run in the family. While in high school, my brother threw a firecracker in the mens bathroom while some kid was doing his business. He got caught. :muhahahaha:
