This made my day

Well, two things -

One - I really don't think Twitter is going to miss her. So if she does a "I'm gonna hold my breath" tantrum over it and say she was going to quit anyway (right - that's why you create a satire account) - no one's going to lose much sleep over it.

But two - for crap's sake, THIS is why he's making so many changes they're losing their chit over - pretend accounts and bots.

One more thing - and since I am not a Twitter follower, maybe I don't get it - so maybe I don't know what the charm of it is. But does celebrity involvement make it what it is? If Twitter DIDN'T have celebrities and athletes and politicians and so on on it making remarks - but just every day people - would people sign on?

I mean - it does seem to be the case, right? Without the presence of famous people - isn't it just another online forum, a Facebook group?

Probably 99% of humans do as they're told. Celebrities tell them git and do, politicians, news personalities - your average American is obedient to those who are positioned as "better". Slap a celebrity name on it and you could sell dog sh*t. So yeah, the only reason Twitter is a thing is because it is constantly being promoted by the elites, constantly being hammered into our brains by the media. And make no mistake - that isn't free. Twitter pays good money for the teevee people to launch them into extreme TOMA.

I laughed out loud when I saw that Kathy Griffin had been banned. Then I laughed even harder when I saw the Demcults melting down over it.
:roflmao:

They want everyone they disagree with shut completely down, but when one of their own blatantly breaks the rules by impersonating someone else - the freaking owner of the company, no less - and gets banned, they cry like little bitches.

I can't find the quote but I saw a video claiming something like 80 million voters are stupid. I think he was being asked what the odds were for Dems, and he tried to parse out the numbers. While you and I believe there are certainly a lot of stupid voters - his implication is that all of them vote Republican.

And this is what motivates them. You may have noticed in the media how nearly ALL Republicans are being called "extreme". You and I think they have ideas that don't work, no matter how well intentioned their motives might be. My observation is that Republicans go with what works and what doesn't work. Dems go with their beliefs and ideology and if it doesn't work, they find a scapegoat.

The Dems - it's all about them being right and everyone else as wrong. Like a cult, like a religion. Everything else is false, everything else is heresy, everything else cannot be tolerated or permitted to flourish. Hence, you have "democracy on the table" and a threat to our way of life. You have Hillary claiming the voters just don't know what's at stake.

When politics is your religion and your God is the leadership and beliefs of the party, you're on a holy crusade.

I don't know when this happened. As I pointed out in the 51 thread - they HAVE 51 votes. Heck, they have 100 votes. To pass something, all they need to do is either compromise or persuade. They don't want to do that. They have to have it all. Because they can't persuade and they won't compromise. Because you can't compromise on holy dogma.

Well, it's easier to be a fascist dictator than to be a good leader who gets elected on merit. And Democrats are nothing if not lazy, so.....

Dems run 100% on emotions. "Think about the children", "a spark of divinity", "Jesus was a refugee", etc. claims appealing to emotions. Screaming at empty parking lots, wearing African cloths and kneeling in unison, painting black lives matter and renaming streets for that cause, tearing down statues. All gestures that helped not 1 single person.

If you ever speak with them, they can never give examples or positions on how they feel. A convo sort of goes like this.

Trump sux.
Why does he suck?
Because he's a nazi and a fascist.
Give me 1 example of what he has done to earn those labels
You're a racist for supporting him.

My mom was all giddy when hillary was running. I asked her what she liked about her and why she was voting for her. After a prolonged period of silence, she told me because she's woman. No other reason or liking part of her platform. I suspect there are quite a few voters like that. The same people that make bets at the horse track based on the color silks the jockey is wearing.

Sneakers

Just sneakin' around....
Wait... is that a screen capture if the fake Elon Musk account? If so, how does it have a blue check?
I was wondering that myself. Maybe it already had a blue check when she was herself, and just changed the screen name, so the check was still valid to the "owner".
