"His parents were not charged with a crime."

YOu have got to be kidding me.......his parents should be put to death......

It definitely is a tragedy that this happened. Some very irresponsible actions by the parents.

But what crime has been broken? None

It's a damn shame the little man died...........but at least the parents had a helmet on the child and the mother did hit the kill switch, it would be different if he was out there by himself.

She hit the kill switch alright.

Yea........it's a damn shame that these parents wanted to give their child a cool toy before his time and that he died in a bizzare accident.

I didn't buy my kids a 4 wheeler, I still think they are too unstable, but you can bet they had a go-cart with a roll cage by the time they were 5.

That's real comforting! Are there laws regarding 2 yr old wearing a helmet?

Great power wheels vehicle! :yay: My little one got the Jeep Limited Wrangler a couple years ago when she turned 3. She still runs around in it and loves it. It's made for that age group. I can't imagine getting her a 4 wheeler at the age of 2.
My kids have one of those. We got it when Seannie was 2 BUT, Caitlyn was the one who would drive it and she was 6. Now Seannie can drive it and he loves it.

i wouldn't think that a two year old would have the mental capacity to work a four wheeler, let alone ride one. that poor child.

I'm sure this mother would do anything to change what happened. She is experiencing the greatest punishment imagineable for her carelessness. My heart goes out to this sweet baby, and to his mother.

Those parents must be a couple of mullet wearing white trash f-ing rednecks!

What next.... have an infant learn how to play with fireworks? Another hillbilly past time!

I bet at the funeral theres a budweiser keg and a Bad Company's Greatest Hits album playing.

I read the article earlier and it pizzed me off to see that parents should be so negligent as to think a 2 year old could handle such a toy. Give me a break. The kid was two. My daughter turned two this passed Friday. I could not bear losing her. I think the parents should be charged with negligence. It states the thing needed to be used by older kids. 4 years older. You get a degree in 4 years. That's a long time of learning. A two year old doesn't have the capacity. Don't guess the parents didn't have the capacity to know better either. I am sure Mom didn't think it would roll over him after the remote stop butany 2 year old does not need to be on a motorized anything except for a car in a carseat. God rest that poor childs soul.
