Anyone know anything fun to do with a toddler this weekend? I've read the calender and it doesn't look like anything fun is going on? Holidays are over and I'm not sure what to do w/ my kiddo? Thanks :buddies:

The weather is supposed to be really nice. Take him to the Leonardtown playground.

Definitely going to be an outside weekend for us. I figure I'll take him to Chancellor's and let him run amok in the fields, or out to Leonardtown. Hopefully it won't be too soggy from today's supposed rain!

Are there any schools up there? Schools usually have play equipment and space to frolic.

Are you allowed to play on school property over the weekend?

That's not a bad idea, TC Martin is our closest elementary school !!

If nothing else, do you have a yard? Mine is totally thrilled to run up and down the sidewalk in front of our house for as long as his legs can carry him. I might try and interest him in the sidewalk chalk I bought months ago, hah.

Yes. We have a couple acres and a private drive. My only concern is the doggie land mines. !!

I was going to suggest Oakridge park also. Lots of running room and there are two seperate playgrounds right next to each other. A big kid and a little kid. It has been a while since we were there so my youngest was a bit small so I just kept a close eye on her to make sure she did not fall and get hurt. Nothing against the play ground but I have seen a couple times where moms are just sitting on the other side of the playground talking and a little one falls and gets hurt.
