I know a lot of you have families with kids so I thought you might be interested in this.
A new Regal Movie Theater opened today and with every ticket you get free soda and popcorn. That will be going on until this Sunday (10/24). I just thought that was a really good deal with the price of tickets and eats being so expensive and all.

I'm sorry. I forgot to add that part. It's in DC in Chinatown. It's really nice. I just went by there to check it out. Two thumbs up. I just figured with all the parents out there, that they would appreciate something inexpensive to do.

Cool, Thanks. Sounds nice but I don't know about the drive to DC just for a movie, will have to think about it.

I know. But you never know who may be interested. Especially when you have to pay 10 dollars for a coke and popcorn.:)

Gosh, I haven't been to a theater in ages! I usually rent/buy a DVD, pop it into my home theater system(mindful of the subwoofer setting - I've got neighbors),
kick back and let 'er rip! I can get popcorn and drinks cheaper than $10.00, and don't have people bothering me while I'm trying to watch the movie.

But good offereings , anyway urbanpancake.

Or pay the $10 in gas to go round trip to DC. You still think like a Democrat.

Entitlements, no matter the cost, are worth it.

Or you could watch the movie on base for three bucks.

What are you talking about?????? I was just making an offering of something to do this weekend. Not everyone likes to stay in county. I don't mind spending $10 in gas if it means I can go to a decent movie theater, where I can see over the person who sits in front of me, and can enjoy real surround sound.

And you, sir, have not a touch of humor in you.

I would not worry about Penn, sir, he gets plenty, more than his share!:really:

Have you seen my cat? :yikes:

He has been coming home from that direction and he is cheaper than $10 to go to a movie in DC.

Well no, now that you mention it; but there have been some very sluggish looking rabbits loping their way around the neighborhood here.

Maybe he's been pulling an all nighter?
