Weather is awesome all weekend for Arizona. Small chance of rain in Southern California.

Trucks - Southern California: Saturday, 3pm on FOX
Nationwide - Southern California: Saturday at 7 on ESPN2
Cup - Southern California: Sunday at 6 on FOX (and I'll listen on radio if Digger pops up on the TV:mad:)
NHRA - Arizona: Sunday 12am and 7pm on ESPN2

The Cali and Michigan Nascar races are hardly worth watching, they rarely have a caution, unless someone tosses out some roll bar padding, and they get so strung out, it get's to be a pretty boring event. Good nappy, nappy time..

On the other hand I'm anxious to see what Larry Dixon does in his new Al-Anabi owned rail, had a DNQ in Sonoma. Was good to see Doug and Ron get the monkey off their back out west though.

Go Allen Johnson & Team Mopar!

Fixed that for you.

Everyone also complained about Rockingham (which I loved). I can't wait for the ARCA Re/Max Carolina 200 at Rockingham. :dye:

Tomorrow, Hagerstown Speedway has it's season opener - late models and sprints... gates open at 12.

Cup at 6PM?? Dinner time.....on a Sunday night.....when most people have to work the next day. They can't even fill the stands half-way -- what makes them think anyone on the East coast will be watching on TV either? No wonder they're in trouble.

In NASCAR's view, East Coast fans will never like California because that track is the reason Darlington lost the Southern 500 (actually, Texas Motor Speedway was). In reality, the racing sucks.

I could count the number of people in the stands during the Truck race.

Yeah Pomona... DUH, my bad.
I had the picture in picture working hard yesterday, Surprisingly the Cup race had a pretty good ending. I think "The Biff" had something for them if he didn't run over his air hose on the final pit stop.. At least Matt won this one
without any help, good job guys.

Larry Dixon grabbed the pole in Arizona, but A. Brown took the Wally in TF.
Capps, piloting a MOPAR took the FC class, and Jeggy grabbed the hardware in PS. Now we have to wait for the Gator Nat's.. Anyone making the trip?

Ron Capps is on a little bit of a roll right now.

Ron Capps is on a little bit of a roll right now.

I'd say, he's won 8 straight rounds, that's very tough to do in today's NHRA, any class. Had an impressive 4.04 on his final pass. Neff had clutch issues after the final round burnout and couldn't find reverse, had to idle down and let Capps do a bye run. Ace has Ron loaded for bear!

And Force was one pizzed off pup when he got out of his car.

Poppa Force had a fuel leak @ the line, and not just a drip or two, she was leaking pretty good. I was shocked that the officials let him stage, but then again he IS John Force. Why the crew didn't see that during the warm up is beside me??

Yeah he was embarrassed that's why he was PO'd..

I saw that. I'm surprised they didn't make him shut the car off and scratch. He was pizzed about that and the fact that two of his cars had to go head to head in the first round.
