Baptist Pastor posts ‘birther propaganda’ on Church sign.
"Tim Ruhl is the senior pastor of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Chico, California. Tim is a graduate of Hyles-Anderson College and a self-described “ardent soul-winner.” The blurb for a teen camp (June 13-17, 2012) says, “He and his wife Terri have four grown children, all Bible college graduates, and now serving the Lord in ministry work.”
Problem is, one of those four grown children is none other than Jesse Ruhl, who has a trial date on August 29, 2012 to face charges he molested a homeschooled teenage girl he was giving the girl music lessons.
According to this article, “They allegedly hugged and kissed. Ruhl reportedly told police in March 2011 that he touched the girl’s breasts and bottom between five and 10 times, with some skin contact.
Ruhl reportedly ended the relationship when his wife discovered the text messages. He reportedly confessed to his family, including senior pastor Tim Ruhl, which led to Jesse Ruhl’s immediate termination as a pastor.”
Jesse Ruhl’s defense attorney tried to get the case dismissed citing the State of California’s one year statute of limitations had expired - but the judge ruled against him."
