My computer became infected with SpySheriff this weekend thanks to my 13 year old. (the story of his punishment may become an entertaining thread in the parenting section).
Anyhow I went to www.bleepingcomputer.com, followed their directions, and everything seems clear now.
Anyone else have any experience with this site?

How and where did he pick up Spysheriff?

He was trying to get a particular icon for his IM and one of his buddies suggested a site. Unfortunately there were "interesting" pics as well as innocent ones and it ended up tagged. SpySheriff normally attaches itself to "adult" sites. And no - he gets no unsupervised computer time for the next several months.
