Dancing Up A Storm
There was an article in today's Enterprise newspaper that said as much about the young lady in the hospital. She's improving daily, and in stable condition, according to the report. Saw it at lunch.

Things are looking up for her!

In the same issue today, there was this:

Accident kills motorist and brother-in-law

A St. Mary’s motorist and his brother-in-law died after the car they were riding in went off Chancellor’s Run Road on Saturday night, police report, and crashed into a tree.

Read it, if you haven't had the chance yet. It's a very sad story; apparently, the wife of one of the guys was out of state when the accident had occured, and had to be notified of it over the phone.

Gosh, that is a sad way to have to learn of it. :huggy:

An update from the families of Serena and Alexis Hahn......

Alexis is doing wonderful and is staying with an Aunt in VA until her mom is well enough to take care of her, and her dad can leave her mother's side to be with her.

Serena came out of her coma and is doing much better. She has been moved from the Shock Trauma Center and is in a Rehabilitation Facility, where therapy is working with her daily. We are living day-by-day with her progress.

We want everyone to know that we are very thankful for their prayers, support and help.

With many years in the medical field between us, we agree that you should not move a MVA victim, but we also agree that is not always the case. We are thankful that people used their common sense and their humanity to help our loved ones.

While Dan stated earlier, "Attention everybody, to let you all know, during the evening time, one of the injured that was flown out, has died. They have confirmed. I cannot tell anybody of who it was though. It will possibly go to the news.", this was not the truth. I guess the point being "don't believe everything you read". Obviously he did not have all the info that he stated that he had. We are wondering where Dan got his info????? If everyone listened to Dan's PROTOCOL we truly believe the outcome would have been a fatality.

The families have read through all the posts in the forum and hope that everyone keeps the humanity that has been shown and is willing to help their fellow human beings. We would like to think that all of us would put humanity and caring over "PROTOCOL", and not worry about diseases that we might or might not "catch" from helping someone that is in a situation that could hit "home".

Blessings to all,
The Hahn's, Walker's, Taylor's, Houser's and Hogue's

love all, trust few, harm none

He even Pmed and assured me someone died...idiot I am sure glad he was wrong..

Just to let u know. When the CHief got on the scene of that MVA PI. He said one subject is Priority 4. Which means DEATH. And thats what it also said on the Bay District VOlunteer Fire Department website. Then they changed it. Saying the person did survive when they started CPR.

Ya know, MVA's can be chaos. Especially for those on the scene. Mistakes are made. It's really important, to trust but verify since peoples hearts are at stake.

And yet you posted the "fatality" hours after the accident, and you didn't wait for the "fatality" to be confirmed and officially announced.

Also why did they start CPR on a dead person if the Chief pronounced her Pri 4? Why did the Chief at the scene have no clue the most seriously injured person was still alive after they began CPR?

Hmmmmmmmm
