An update from the families of Serena and Alexis Hahn......
Alexis is doing wonderful and is staying with an Aunt in VA until her mom is well enough to take care of her, and her dad can leave her mother's side to be with her.
Serena came out of her coma and is doing much better. She has been moved from the Shock Trauma Center and is in a Rehabilitation Facility, where therapy is working with her daily. We are living day-by-day with her progress.
We want everyone to know that we are very thankful for their prayers, support and help.
With many years in the medical field between us, we agree that you should not move a MVA victim, but we also agree that is not always the case. We are thankful that people used their common sense and their humanity to help our loved ones.
While Dan stated earlier, "Attention everybody, to let you all know, during the evening time, one of the injured that was flown out, has died. They have confirmed. I cannot tell anybody of who it was though. It will possibly go to the news.", this was not the truth. I guess the point being "don't believe everything you read". Obviously he did not have all the info that he stated that he had. We are wondering where Dan got his info????? If everyone listened to Dan's PROTOCOL we truly believe the outcome would have been a fatality.
The families have read through all the posts in the forum and hope that everyone keeps the humanity that has been shown and is willing to help their fellow human beings. We would like to think that all of us would put humanity and caring over "PROTOCOL", and not worry about diseases that we might or might not "catch" from helping someone that is in a situation that could hit "home".
Blessings to all,
The Hahn's, Walker's, Taylor's, Houser's and Hogue's
love all, trust few, harm none
