Ticks in Solomons?

Does anyone know how bad ticks are in solomons/solomons island? We don't plan to hike any woods.

Nope... visited a few times, but not in the past 3 years. Planning to visit memorial day weekend. I know calvert county has an increase from 2018, but not sure about solomons itself.

Solomon's lends itself more to strolling as opposed to hiking.

As long as you're not in the woods you should be fine.

Deer Ticks aren't that bad around Solomons, but on the lower end of the island, late spring, the full moon comes out over the Tiki Bar and the Luna Ticks get really plentiful.
