So, I admit. I do enjoy TikTok for humor, cleaning tips and cooking videos. Some news and podcast recaps. I haven't really noticed any of the propaganda that is supposedly, running rampant........
Until yesterday. OMG!!!!!
I should have known. I saw an ad that was promoting World Tok and Euro Tok. A place where people from all over the world just tell things about their country and such. Started out very interesting. Neat little videos of people showing you things that are normal in the homes, foods they eat and different customs.
Now this morning, the real stuff starts kicking in. I have a very nice man who came here from Ukraine, talking about how wonderful life is here and how he is so grateful to America for bringing him here. Starts promoting the aide that USA provided for him to be here and he knows it's only temporary, but that could change.
Some very nice woman in Norway, showing me her bathroom and how it is decorated. Trump toilet paper became the main focus.
A woman from France walking through Normandy and pointing out different things began to describe how terrified she was because of Trump. In France. And in the comments were people claiming to be from the US stating that France needs to pray for us because we are terrified too.
Anyway, now it will take me a while to get this out of my feed and I'm actually bummed because I was enjoying the initial videos.
