The America I grew up in was a great country. The America of Donald Trump is not.

Americans aren't supposed to kick a guy when he is down. We help others when times are rough. We don't take away their food support and kick them out in the streets.

The America I grew up in was a great country and it can be again.
The Country you grew up in (if you ever really have grown up) people worked ansupported themselve, didn’t always look for government handouts.....that’s the country I grew up in.

Nice speech.

Perhaps it could start with you and rid yourself of the hate you claim to be condemning. Perhaps you could learn some civility and respect, and maybe try to learn the concept of love.

Trans, it's been said over and over... you are the most hateful person I've ever seen. You hold contempt for virtually everyone and I don't know how you can even survive a minute in public.

Practice what you're preaching.

Let me reiterate this statement, because it bears repeating:

The America I grew up in was a great country. The America of Donald Trump is not.

I couldn't agree with this statement more!

The America of Donald Trump is, unfortunately the same America that it was in 2015 ... It is an America which is full of sanctimonious, self-righteous, self-important, entitled, emasculated children who wouldn't know personal responsibility if it jumped up and bit them on their undoubtedly substandard genitals. People who have never seen real struggle, so the tiniest inconvenience - or even a simple turn of phrase - induces post-traumatic stress. People who blame every one of their trifling ails on their parents and previous generations because working to overcome those ails is just like so... it's like... OMG I can't even. People who will blame their government for every single problem the world has ever known, and in the same breath demand that very same government take care of all their needs from the cradle to the grave.

Unfortunately, this is the America we're going to be stuck with after Donald Trump is gone as well, because, although we may have someone else at the helm, but it'll still be full of the same vacuous intemperate children stretching their hungry mouths toward the same teat.

^^ If you think Trump is the answer, I don't want to see the question. ^^

You fruitcakes can't even help yourselves. Grow a pair.

polesmoker is such a stickler for context too.

In some places - like Columbus, Ohio, Jacksonville, Florida and Gainesville, Florida - landlords are filing roughly as many eviction proceedings as they were before the CDC measure. In Richmond, Virginia, for example, there were 152 evictions filed the week of Oct. 4, well over the amount filed weekly during July.

If only the banks would waive interest payments, insurance companies waive their payments, local and municipal governments would forgo collection of taxes with out taking your property away, utilities would let you slide without shutting them off, you wouldn't have to repair the properties when needed without the government treating you with fines, we could definitely waive some rent in Gunsmokes utopia of Unicorns, Fairies and Mermaids.........

Yep if only EVERYONE up stream from the renters would just give up on collecting their money as well ....

I mean seriously the banks could afford it for 6 months ... they make enough damn money ... but I am not a Socialist so pay up

That would still not stop the local and municipal governments to stop collecting taxes.
My biggest expense are insurance and property taxes.......
