Put a fork in us. There are 2 Americas. 1 urban and 1 the rest of the country. I say let the left have the 400 or so counties that want free crap from the government. Parcel them out. Give people living in those areas a year to decide to stay or clear out. Same deal with businesses. Split the military and all it's assets in half. Give all service members new contracts and let them decide which military they wish to serve.

You can horsetrade a few counties, the ones that are <60% one way. Make the blue sections closer together. Cities can be like Berlin was during the Cold War. This way they can have all the illegals and criminals they desire.

There might be some growing pains but after a while people will get use to living in a nation that better reflects their values.

Round up every democrat in the nation, put them all on decommissioned supertankers and sink them at the mid-atlantic ridge.

Just like how Berlin was cut off from the rest of west Germany. In Maryland the left gets PG, Montgomery, Baltimore and Charles counties. You redraw the boundaries a bit to shove the grit into the left half and the rolling hills on the edges get put in the right quadrant.

What ends up happening is you encircle the urban areas. The balkanization of the US.
