You are a fountain of optimism, I'll give you that. I'm just holding my breath at this point. I'll be up all night tomorrow updating the results and it will give me major heartburn if I have to post a Kerry victory.

I think it will come down to a few states as 'they' have been predicting.

Bush 49%

Kerry 48%

Nader 3%
I think Bush will win but not in a landslide.

Prylosec seems to work for me when I get heartburn....

As for predictions... I surmise this election will spawn off into legal cases like the last time and we won't know who the winner is until mid December.

So here goes....after all is said and done and the lawsuits have been decided.... Kerry 53%, bush 44%, nadar 3%

Kerry - 49
Bush - 48
Other - 3

I don't like it, but it's too clear that too many people are pouring out because they hate Bush. Most I've seen really can't even say why.

Ok...

...I'm looking for:

Florida and Ohio go Bush, he wins comfortably in the EC call it 280-290 or so.

In the gross votes Bush 52.5% other 1.5% and the rest Kerry.

I know way too many Democrats voting Bush to actually predict Kerry winning and their minds were made up solid, two months ago.

Turnout will be huge on the Dem side as has been said, anger being the driving force.

Turnout will be huge'er on the Bush side, fear being the driving force, fear of Kerry's record.

There's less angry people and more scared people.

There is a bunch of underlying, nagging at the conscious thing for those last minute folks where the devil you know, W, will be better than the devil you don't.

This is my favorite "poll-interpretation" sites. http://www.mysterypollster.com/
It's very well thought out and it is well presented.

I predict that Kerry will build on the lead he already has among the people who voted early. My popular vote prediction is that it will end up being:

Kerry 49%
Bush 47%

If that happens there is a slight possibility that the Senate could chose Edwards. Bush/Edwards :twitch:
