Tire Service Recommendations

Can anyone recommend a tire dealer that can correctly mount and balance high performance tires in Southern Maryland?
I went to MrTire behind BJ's and had 2 285/40 R 17 Goodyears swapped on their rims and Hunter road force balanced. ~$95. I brought the tires in on rims working just fin. I reinstalled the tires and the next day the right was flat. Took it back and they properly resealed the bead. They told be to drive on the tire to set it in the bead and I did. The left tire kept going flat and I missed it once and before I could get back I ruined the side wall. These were new tires about 14K on them. Total cost to replace one tire with mounting balancing is about $400. BTW they also scuffed my perfect rims.

Can anyone recommend someone in Southern Maryland that knows how to correctly mount and balance high performance tires?

Power with Control
I use 275/40/20 in an SUV design, my heavy car needs a stiff sidewall. I use Curtis on Great Mills Road. I fought the Road Force balance a couple times, never getting it right. Curtis does what they call a high speed balance, and I have had a problem. I go through a set of tires a year, and its a 2006, I started using them I think in 2008.

Excellent tire service!!! They have tire mounting machines that don't touch the rims!!! I had 4 high performance tires mounted on newly blasted & painted lightweight racing rims and not a scratch!!! :diva:

MrTire in California cracked 2 of my rims a few years back. I'll never go back. Tom Hodges in Hollywood gets my business now.:yay:

I don't trust Mr tire

I absolutely distrust Mr tire. When I first moved to the county I went to the one on great mills to get my state inspection (on a car I bought about 3k miles before). The told me I needed to replace my brakes. I was about to pay them when a guy at work said I have a right to a second opinion. I went to cheseldine and they said I have no problem with the brakes. I took this to the Mr tire and told them about it and threatened them to bring a state trooper in. End of the day I got my state inspection signed off. I stay away from that place from now on.

Two repair shops I trust down here. Curtis tire and Cheseldine.

Concur

Mr. Tire, Tires Plus and all those franchise stores try to upsell you. I think Cheseldine is competitive in price and doesn't try to upsell on service.
